A consistent pattern I notice in all hyper-successful people: The emotion they're trying hardest not to feel is exactly what they're recreating.
Avoid failure → Play it safe → Feel like a failure
I call this the Golden Algorithm. Here's how it works: https://t.co/cufOPZnwCK
For people who are very self-reliant/high-agency, allowing the feeling of helplessness is one of the most powerful pathways to feeling supported and not alone in your problems.
My definition of helplessness: Experiencing that there's nothing you can do to change the outcome.
3 indicators that you're repressing an emotion:
1) You're stuck in analysis paralysis
2) Your body is tense and contracted
3) You judge others for expressing that emotion
Intelligence used to set you apart.
Before AI, being smart wasn't just useful - it was critical. You couldn't outsource intelligence.
But soon, knowledge and even intelligence itself will be commoditized.
