Choose Yourself!

Rule #2: Pick a boring business.

When you give up searching for frontiers, inevitably you end up stuck in a swamp, sinking deeper into the mud the more you struggle to get out.

The only real retirement plan is to Choose Yourself. To start a business or a platform or a lifestyle where you can put big chunks of money away.

“You must first be the change you want to see in this World.”

I like starting businesses or being involved in sectors of industry that fascinate me.

With the human mind, it wants to take us below mediocrity. If given the chance, the human mind will constantly fill us up with thoughts. You would think thoughts make us smart, but it’s quite the opposite.

The key is that it has to be ten or more. You want your brain to sweat, like I mentioned earlier in the book.

The way you create the network effect is by encouraging people in your network to connect to each other and to help each other. It feels funny sometimes. Sometimes people say to me, “Oh, I met so-and-so, thanks to your blog.” And I think to myself, “HEY! THAT’S MY SO-AND-SO!” I have to stop that feeling. It’s only limiting. The universe has limitle
