Buying into a culture is massively outside-in. It thwarts free will and creates followers who aren’t capable of coming through in the big moment.
Lack of communication is never a real issue. A person’s state of mind when he or she communicates, or doesn’t, is the key to rapport between teammates, coworkers, or family members.
Codes of conduct are very slippery slopes. The conflict between what a person thinks is right and what an organization tells the person is right will, more often than not, bind and confuse the person. This inner bewilderment creates dysfunction—and failure.
