When drawing, the trick is to spend more time looking at the thing you are trying to draw than at your picture. This is true for writing, too.

Old paradigms die hard. Puking, sweating, convulsing every vestige of What No Longer Works into a heaping pile of shitty compost that will eventually grow something new and beautiful, but not until you’re scraped raw of every notion of what that might be.

Plenty of the “creator economy” offers simply monetize a feeling of possibility rather than a concrete outcome.

And, technically, nothing wrong with that, as long as we all know what the game is.

Humans aren’t meant to excavate their inner feelings until they find their “true self.” We become ourselves in relation, not through introspection.
