The most radical thing you can do today is not be an asshole.

The only way to help people rise above undignified behavior is to teach them that they are dignified. You cannot fight shame with shame.

Resisted grief feels panicked and desperate - like you absolutely *must* find a way to stay moving to escape an unwanted reality. Accepted grief feels somber but true - like you might not like where you're standing, but your feet are on the ground. And that ground is a resource.
