See morei think about this a lot. i think a lot about how this impacts our emotional landscape when navigating thinking of those in our past that we’ve loved and lost. i do so many things people i once loved inspired me to do, and it brings me great grief but it reminds me that our connection was real, and enjoyable, if only for a shorter time than i would’ve liked.

Hypervigilance is a fixation on looking for danger that comes from excessive exposure to real danger.

(ie: hearing a family argument from within the same house, knowing you cannot stop the situation nor help dissolve it.)
i’d love to explore the ramifications of the digital age on attaining a level of understanding of the person providing us our media.
for instance, why do we read articles without knowing anything of the author’s history, and does it truly say anything about us if we enjoy a piece of media produced by what some would call a “bad,” person?
