This is the answer. Use any fleeting motivation to construct the habit. Do not rely on “feeling like it”. Once you’ve created the habit, it will feel uncomfortable not exercising.

What you are describing sounds exactly like symptoms of ADD, basically executive functioning issues (the lack of ability to make yourself start tasks, yet desperately wanting to get things done and stressing about not being able to start).

You have identified your obstacle: "this invisible force"

Now penetrate into it with your mind / feelings, discover what it truly is, in essence. What is it, in and of itself? Sit quietly, relax, clear your mind and think. How do you feel? What is this force? Keep penetrating into it more deeply until you see it clearly enough for your purpose.
