…we find it difficult to understand that other people are human beings in the same way we are—we idealize them as gods or dismiss them as animals.

Trains should be smoother than trains
Trains and stations should always have light, pleasant, and calming odors
HEPA filtration
Scents to calm passengers
Reduce potential for bad odors
There should not be any noticeable pressurization changes throughout the trip. Either make a system that doesn’t require adjustments or make the resolution of the adjustments so small they’re not noticeable by passengers
Eurostar has many pressurization adjustments that case ears to pop/pressurize, which creates unnecessary discomfort
If a train car isn’t stopping at a station, there’s no reason to slow down. The tube should be covered/protected from people hazards
How to be more people efficient than Eurostar?
Clearer security instructions
Passive crowd control
Automated boarding and embarking
No food served at seats
How do some of the worlds best airports handle crowds effectively and efficiently?
Cargo part needs to be less than one operator per 80000 lbs, needs to take less people than trucking
