... See moreI am a woman of many hobbies and yet not one passion, nor one mastered skill. This poem inspired me to pick up writing again, something that I feel has always been with me, but has been put on the back burner time and time again because of my insecurities. I want to overcome that, as to not let young nor future me down.
By writing fiction I have discovered some surprising things: for example that describing memories does not necessarily bring them to life. It can be the opposite: in the process of writing fiction I have overwritten some of my own memories.
