When God gave us all things that pertain to life and godliness, He told us the same thing. We are no longer servants, who need to be told what to do each day. We are friends, adults in faith, trusted with the principles needed to live as God would live in this world.

Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness! (Matthew 25:21)

Be grateful.

This is a very important truth. God says there is a direct relationship between how I use my money and the quality of my spiritual life. How I manage my money (“worldly wealth”) determines how much God can trust me with spiritual blessings (“true riches”). Let me ask you: Is the way you manage your money preventing God from doing more in your life?

Proverbs tells us, “The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.”12 Those who pass along insights get more from God.

Stewards are trusted servants. They are servants with an opportunity to advance and grow. The successful stewards in the "Parable of the Talents" are told, "You have been faithful over little; I will set you over much" (Matthew 25:21, 23). Their faithful service granted to them more responsibility and more reward. In that sense, stewards serve not
