... See moreWhen God gave us all things that pertain to life and godliness, He told us the same thing. We are no longer servants, who need to be told what to do each day. We are friends, adults in faith, trusted with the principles needed to live as God would live in this world.
The principles for living life and being godly are in Scripture and that is what He wants out of our lives, "For this is the will of God, your sanctification" (1 Thessalonians 4:3). He has given us all the principles and values He deemed necessary to live godly lives.
If I have a part of my life that I will not bring in submission to Jesus, if I will not obey Him in every way, I am not His friend.
