I wonder whether/why a For You feed is harder to tune in text-based mediums than video ones. Regardless, agree that the Twitter For You feed doesn't deliver.
We need ritual technology. Technology designed for ritual use.
Why? Most of the software we use daily is designed to engagement-max. Social media feeds, loot boxes, compulsion loops, gang gang yes yes yes ice cream so good. You’re caught in a feedback loop with the algorithm, and you are the squishiest part of that loop.
Bottom line: This is the tip of the iceberg, and these are still early innings. Most of today’s projects will flop as part of the relay-race of mass adoption. But as you can hopefully see, the opportunities emerging for entrepreneurs are almost violently compelling.
there is a "business as a service" product emerging for every content creator to be able to monetize across any vertical. from food to fashion, with a loyal audience, you can make/sell/fulfill branded [fill in blank] as a service with minimal friction and investment.
