Experience must be followed by reflective thought and an internal processing that links the experience with previous learning, transforming the learner’s previous understanding in some manner. Learning, therefore, takes place within a cycle that includes action, reflection, and application.
We need to arrive at a place of moral clarity where we can all agree on certain fundamentals: that it is wrong to persecute a group of people simply because they are different from you, as it is wrong to disparage our planet and rob generations of their futures.
This is a massive problem in decision-making. We try to close down the solution space of any problem in order to arrive at a single right answer that is difficult to argue with.
