Celebrate smallness. Don’t rush past it too quickly. Embrace it. Relish it as a beautiful moment that we can only hold onto for so long.

To make something good, just do it. To make something great, just redo it, redo it, redo it. The secret to making fine things is in remaking them.

I often think of what our relationships, community, society, and work will look like when we move beyond singular identities and into tensions. I think of the beauty, creativity and innovation that will bloom when we move out of our singularities and into our cosmic connectedness. Out beyond identity, there is a field. I will meet you there.

Put simply, a believing mirror is a friend to your creativity—someone who believes in you and your creativity. As artists, we can consciously build what I call creative clusters—a Sacred Circle of believing mirrors to potentiate each other’s growth, to mirror a “yes” to each other’s creativity.

We don’t have a scarcity of grind.

We have a scarcity of optimism, earnestness, kindness, sincerity, curiosity, delight, aliveness, and exuberance.
