... See moreDesire is never about the object itself. If it were, once you acquired it, the desire would vanish. Yet, your wardrobe keeps getting stuffier while you still find yourself with nothing to wear. Desire is about what the object seems to promise us: a fuller, richer existence.
We live in an interesting time because the AI dictation has got to a level now that it's kind of a solved problem.
And if you want to just sit there and talk for 15 minutes, sometimes you're going to surface ideas that you wouldn't with pen and paper because we often edit ourselves when we write out longhand. And that is absolutely valuable.

... See moreIf you want to do something with AI, just ask it to help you do the thing. “I want to write a novel; what do you need to know to help me?” will get you surprisingly far. And remember, AI is only going to get better at guiding us, rather than requiring us to guide it. Prompting is not going to be that important for that much longer.
