Web 3.0

The issue is web3 discourse under-sells the power of the web, oversimplifies the benefits of a new architecture, and skips over meaningful hurdles (UX, security, trust, long-term economics). I think we confuse theories with actual user value props and sustainable business models.

Web2 content pricing is so broken: a subscription to 70 million songs costs the same amount as a subscription to one newsletter.

Web3 makes money interactive and non-permissioned in the same way that Web2 made information interactive and non-permissioned.
