When I read this I suddenly thought, the same is felt by many businesses towards social media trends: they believe the need to jump on the TikTok bandwagon or start making more Instagram reels because they need to “remain competitive” – yet they haven’t spent a minute thinking about the product or their current shitty marketing (that you’re better off fixing than botching by adding a layer of social media banalities to it)
In the late 1990s, Julia Hill climbed a 200-foot, approximately 1000-year-old Californian redwood tree & didn’t come down for another 738 days. She ultimately reached an agreement with Pacific Lumber Company to spare the tree and a 200-foot buffer zone surrounding the tree.
