Supernormal objects can be defined by something that is not present or something they don’t have: style, identity, originality, remarkableness and by their « oxymoronic » (normal vs. super) / superlative quality (quintessential form of normality).

Des différentes acceptions d’inconnu / ignoré (ce que l’on ne connaît pas / sait pas) et de ce qu’elles recouvrent. Et pourquoi il faut dépasser l’assimilation systématique de l’inconnu au risque — et le recours aux probabilités pour la prise de décision — et développer une compréhension plus fine des différentes catégories d’inconnus pour adopter les bonnes stratégies de « coping » et de prise de décision.
Mais si traiter tous les inconnus comme des risques est caricatural (oversimplification) maths et probabilités sont le meilleur outil dont nous disposons pour prendre des décisions dans un contexte incertain. Ajouter de nouvelles catégories peut créer de la confusion entre décisions opérationnelles, pratiques et considérations philosophiques.
