I recently took up drumming. Again.

I’d like to imagine a space where time is treated like we are gardens rather than machines - where time is attuned to our individual needs and given consistently, given softly, given with care.

When I am in good hands I open myself to a state of curiosity and appreciation. I allow myself to suspend preconceived notions. I give you freedom to take me where you want to go. I immerse myself in your worldview and pause judgement

Rest is soft, or sensual. It’s massaging your own palms with your thumbs, or

touching a purring cat, or holding a warm mug of tea, or smelling flowers or

coffee beans or cut-up herbs
