Lately I have been thinking that the search for meaning might be the byproduct of the ability to make tools… like the quest for understanding is the counter ballast to our general analytical ability. 🤔
What loosens when you assume your role is to discover more so than it is to invent?
a website can be anything. doesn’t (and probably shouldn’t) be an archive of your complete works. that’s going to be dead the moment you publish. a website, or anything interactive, is inherently unfinished.
it’s imperfect… maybe sometimes it even has a few bugs. but that’s the beauty of it. websites are living, temporal spaces.
the ending of sentences have extra stress compared to the rest of the sentence
can't just write a ton of short sentences either, because then you're just saying "this is important. this is important. this is important."
it takes higher language skills to make longer sentences valuable
To me, the best things are niche. Curation should be the vehicle to understand a very specific, visceral world, and to be able to live in that world, through content or product or whatever your service is
