Roller shutter cabinet from the 1950s. High-quality corpus in oak veneer with two tambour doors, several compartments, two shelves and a black contrasting base. We upcycled the piece and converted it into a unique bureau by adding a fold-out writing surface. So cool 🧑🏽💻✍🏻 📚!

Ideas as I gather them:
-Cutting onions: cut laterally first, then vertically
-Blending: start blending slow @ first, then slowly ramp up speed
Considerations for my ideal kitchen:
Kitchen knives:
Multi-purpose
Wa Santoku —> rounded tip
Wa Gyuto —> pointed tip
Bunka —> less common compared to Gyuto, “reverse tanto” point
Nakiri —> flatter blade, popular in Japanese households (fruits, veg)
