if you're dealing with insecurity or impostor syndrome I recommend not having a life narrative. you can just do your best at whatever task and connect with whomever seems to welcome connection if you're not worried how it fits into your life story

I've become fully convinced that the only way out of the doom loop is that people have to become absolutely obsessed with an idea that they think can realistically move the needle in a positive direction and they have to be borderline insane in their drive to make it happen
