Perfectionism rarely creates perfection. You procrastinate because you’re terrified of falling short. You abandon projects because they don’t live up to insurmountable standards. You spend more time frantically burying flaws than creating something authentic.
It’s worth reading the entire HBR post. I cannot help but infer that we are lonely and are growing more lonely as we spend so much time glued to our devices.
To discover, learn, see what you dream or cannot even imagine, the best path is not too listen and follow blindly what everyone else does or suggests, but to explore, try out, venture on unexplored and badly charted trails.
