this book for sure. it starts so simple. too simple. if-else + loops → … → every conceivable form of software

one of those things that’s hard to unsee or stop speaking about once you see it

this was a big one. took a few months for it to really click. but when it did, i realized i could no longer not learn how to code (unless all of this was wrong. it is right).

listening to this, and then a podcast about the telephone made me comfortable that i could learn any and everything about how the internet worked.

not specifically this post, but the graphics that accompanied it

this one helped a lot with seeing over the horizon and i saw it play out for a few companies in 2020 (when time moved very fast and very slow)
