Fruits (whole fruit = 1 cup): 2 cups
Vegetables: 2½ cups
Proteins: 5½ ounces
Grains (at least half should be whole grains): 6 ounces
Dairy: 3 cups
Fats/Oils: 27 grams, or about 5 teaspoons
