Future of the Internet

The Internet needs to get much weirder. People out there are tired of deep-fried data, too, and want substance.

Most of the social internet has become about building an audience and connecting people to brands and influencers. It’s better understood as a performance by the top 1%, not as a way to exchange knowledge or connect people to one another.

As Jeff Hammerbacher put it: "The best minds of my generation are thinking about how to make people click ads. That sucks."
