Why are people turning to white nationalism - from fear, poverty. This includes women but if we limit our idea of radicalisation to physical violence and not other forms, political violence, then we are ignoring a wave if radicalisation

Young great minds should be focusing on making narrow AI to solve specific problems (eg breast cancer) over superintelligence. Creating supperintelligence is contrary to improving their quality of life. BUT their is a race between nations, so it becomes about delaying the time taken to make it. We have to appeal to personal self interest to encourage those capable of creating these technologies that it is not an ideal outcome.
