Staying in huts off of side roads without names, hiking with gear in cartoonishly deep snow, finding glaciers instead of caves we had set out for, loading film in the airport and in the back of a minivan, shooting stop motion on a 16mm camera while counting the revolutions of the mirror and carrying around a styrofoam dog through Alberta’s most beautiful mountains. All of this and more is what made us into even better friends. It’s a pleasure to show you some images we made together not along ago in a part of Canada I’ve been wanting to go to for a long time.
