Something magic happens when you write by hand. It unlocks new thought patterns.

Sure you can use AI to help you with your thinking or you can simply go for a walk or spend time in nature.

But there's something specifically that happens when you write by hand.

It's just nice to have this as a tool in your toolkit to improve thinking.

And with a

Content creation is the commodization of creativity.

AI seem to be the final nail in the coffin.

That's why I like the term content artistry. It implies going back to what made content creation great at one point:

Sharing ideas and creating for the joy of creation.

Unfortunetly content has become a funnel to sell something instead of being the end

Fabricated creativity is characterized by lack of substance. 

Something truly creative: 

• Feels fresh

• Surprises

• Invoke wonder

• Trigger reflection

It’s important to delineate creativity from the industry of creativity. There are creatives who write for a living in the form of ad copy, technical writing, etc. But this is different than the creative writing of their own novel, screenplay or poetry. There are creatives that make music for a living in the form of music for commercials or backgrou

Value creation is rooted in solving problems and addressing human needs.

While large language models have some positive uses for creative writing, such as generating small projects or parts of larger projects, they are not a replacement for human creativity and require careful prompt engineering to produce useful output.

The key to preserving what's valuable is to emphasize the embodied process of writing, which connects us to our humanity, and to spend time honoring what is not machine-like in us.
