Sometimes, to get better at something, you have to stop trying to do too many things and instead say no to some ideas so you can do a few things really well.
“Your progress is blocked by what you refuse to let go”

“What am I going to give up?” instead of “what should I start doing?”
Your identity is what you do, how you act. You can’t change if you keep adding more clothes to your body instead of removing some. Limit projects and say no to yourself when you come up with new ideas.
... See moreTo build a new identity. You must dismantle your old identity. Find what it’s weaknesses are and it’s strengths are and build it from the frame work. Rewire the electrical and stabilize it. You can’t just slap paint on the missing walls. You need to build it first. And if the walls are there but crumbling, you need to rebuild them.
Stop treating emotions as problems to solve or inefficiencies to eliminate. this is what causes you to not be able to feel things.
ask yourself- do I want long relief (engage) or short relief (avoid)?
-Asking yourself gives you the opportunity to choose and have less regret.
Avoidance will become a tool you sometimes use. Not just auto pilot.
