This is why I feel like people who are less cerebral and less aware of all of the ways in which they are imperfect, they just blast past everyone else. Because they're just doing things. And they get better so much quicker. So I think that's a message I want to give to the world. You're good to go. Just start doing things.
The beauty of multiple income streams means there is less pressure on my books to make lots of money. It gives me space. It gives my books space. It also allows me to be multidisciplinary and curious about other projects. I used to think all I wanted was to only write fiction. Turns out, I’ve got so many other things I want to make.
I talked to a friend who wants to start a blog and wanted some advice on that—how to find her voice and so on. A few random thoughts:
It is the stuff about you that is odd that is interesting. So, don’t think to much about how you are supposed to do it, or what the genre convetions are. Just try to amuse yourself.
I recently spent several work days timing the hours I spend intensely focused each day. It was illuminating.
A pretty good day is 3+ hours.
I would shoot for 4+
My max was like 7. At the end of that day I was exhausted.
A week with 4+ each day really moves the needle.

Land on Earth with mission, but unable to survive. Learn from others how to survive and in the meantime pick up a lot of their distortions on how to be happy.
Start taking off layers that hinder us and revealing our purpose while staying functional
