To write is to connect irrespective of the confines of time, space or distance. It creates a spark of understanding and camaraderie between two souls who may never meet.

Rigidity is the enemy of creativity but routine can be a road opener to the stuck creative. The problem isn’t in how you schedule but what you do in the timeframe. A routine based on play and freedom will only serve to encourage creative pursuits, whereas chaos invites one to fall into destructive habits.

Burnout comes from trying to meet some invisible, external expectation. Pressure is introduced when art turns from creation into performance, because the act of performing implies observation and therefore critique.
