3-types: ALA (flax, chia, walnuts), EHA and DHA (algae and seaweed)
Other ALA sources include spinach, brussel sprouts and kale
Need around 250-500mg EHA and DHA combined p/day
Vegetarians and vegans often are deficient in EHA and DHA as its typically absorbed from fish (they get it from algae)
