When it comes to history, we think in straight lines. It’s really hard to grasp how much crazier the future is going to get, because most people extrapolate based on the past growth rate, and even the more optimistic and adventurous ones will extrapolate from the present growth rate.

Tipping might be viewed as absurd in most of the non-US world, but in the context of DAO’s, tipping can be a very valuable and healthy mechanism to help a DAO scale. Tips are often used more like airdrops (care-drops?) and their superpower is that they can reward value creation very rapidly, especially when unplanned but easily identifiable. 

We live in a golden age of content, with almost unlimited free learning resources available online. But not everyone is prepared to benefit from it equally. It is only those who know how to harness technology and organize knowledge for their own purposes who will be empowered by the information tidal wave we are now facing.
