I am a body of work.

What my own experiment has taught me so far is that the rewards we seek – genuine connection, meaningful impact, that elusive sense of belonging – only come from sustained engagement with a place’s full spectrum of experiences.

The trad return is emblematic of our increasingly urgent search for stability outside the internet era of careers. It’s a search for things that compound even when systems fail. Home, family, faith, body. Wellness, fitness, biohacking, longevity. All of these fit the pattern. New aesthetics, same instinct to grab stability whereever we can get it

This bemoaning of manufacturing being lost is a little duplicitous—it’s not for us, it’s for the poor people.
