I define a strong product person as someone that is obsessed with solving tough problems in ways that are loved by their users and customers, yet can sustain a business, and are just now possible.
@HamelHusain Well, agents do have a specific definition that I feel like got lost somewhere in the hype - but yes, they're essentially just workflows with extra capacity for dynamic decision making (ie selecting the correct next function based on the environment) and backtracking on errors
with AI taking off, creativity matters more than ever
i'm working on a talk on why we should all be more like Rick Rubin, slides below: https://t.co/ospveiB3XT
“A brand is a shared cultural belief about a company or product. It’s not just what I think about a brand that defines that brand to me. It’s also what I think other people think about that brand, and how they’ll judge me for buying it.”
The only enduring value is in identifying hard problems that face customers you understand, solving that problem better than anyone else, and staying obsessed with serving that customer forever.
Product management is about insights and judgment, both of which require a sharp mind. Hard work is also necessary, but for this job, it is not sufficient.
