Dr Robert Mendelsohn MD indicates in Confessions of a Medical Heretic that one of the main ‘problem foods’ for young babies and small children is cow’s milk. He regards human breast-milk as the only suitable food for a baby and refers to bottle-feeding with cow’s milk as, “…the granddaddy of all junk food…”
