As we saw in the Millennial chapter, Millennials—the parents of most older Polars—have actually done very well economically, and (as of 2019) were nearly as likely to own a home as Gen X’ers were at the same age. Millennials have also had fewer children and had them later, both of which increase the resources available for children.
