Adams’ book is a beautiful piece of writing and frames the adventures of the rabbits within stunning, brief descriptions of the British countryside. The details of plants and flowers never overwhelm the narrative or slow down the story but rather give the sense of a deep spiritual connection between the writer and the British countryside.
