Something I taught 15 yo: In everyday life, big decisions often occur mixed together with small ones. If you're not careful you'll tend to give them equal weight. So separate decisions as much as you can. There are many techniques for doing this.

Strangely enough, if you want to make something that will appeal to future generations, one way to do it is to try to appeal to past generations.

Paul Graham said, “when people visit your startup, they should be surprised how few people you have.”

If you're not working hard, you're probably wasting your time.
