Begin by reading all three Stanzas of the Opening Prayer out loud. Then, return to the third Stanza and read it silently twice more, using your current legal name, for a total of three times. Next, announce out loud: “The Records are now open.”

For glory means good report with God, acceptance by God, response, acknowledgement, and welcome into the heart of things. The door on which we have been knocking all our lives will open at last.

Gatekeepers are important for helping visitors across the boundary. They’re the people who can give newcomers access to the community. Whether officially or unofficially, gatekeepers evaluate whether an interested newcomer should be welcomed across the boundary and into the community. They may be the same as or different from those who can exclude.

the center of that heart of the Way, at the nexus of everything that existed, was Oversight.

O Goddess of the Moon, Goddess of the night sky, of brilliance and of darkness, please bless this seeker of the ways!

Open and feel. Feel and open.

Having prepared properly, the practitioner must open his or her heart and sincerely request the teachings, putting aside all emotional and conceptual obscurations and experiencing deep devotion and respect. When they see that the practitioner has the proper intention, the sacred-realm ḍākinīs unlock the code of these protected teachings and unbar t
