Our tagline is Founders are artists, not assets. If I had to summarize my core belief, it’s that the best founders, especially in the early days, look more like artists creating a fundamentally new, creative project. They don’t resemble business executives chasing an arbitrage opportunity.

Our “small giants” approach optimized for mojo over growth. We wanted a small, talent-dense team with a focus on craft, autonomy, and quality of life for all team members. We banished the term “founder” in favor of “partner” and tried to be transparent with all business matters across the team.

Going back to how a lot of investors operate, it's very ego-driven. It's very driven by one personality or a bunch of lone wolves who happen to run in a pack, and I don't think that's how capital deployment should work. I genuinely believe we need a hive mind, and that's what we've done at Initialized.
