On the bedding side, plan for mattress covers just in case. Otherwise, you risk finding your beautiful mattress in a dirty state, very quickly. We regularly travel in France and abroad with our two young children staying in Airbnb apartments, and "accidents" often occurred during the night. Having mattress pads has saved many mattresses.
