I define the ally as a divine being who appears in the imaginal realm to partner with a specific individual. It awaits its partner for as long as necessary and never seeks another. It is paired with only one human and so must wait for its partner to seek it. If its partner never seeks union, then the ally remains alone and unfulfilled.
