both are true: I hold a lot of conflicting beliefs, and have become happier the longer I’ve sat with them and realized that internal conflicts are a fact of life.
The difference between internal processors (people who organize their thoughts and then speak) and external processors (people who speak in order to think) probably accounts for a lot more misunderstanding than we acknowledge.
