it seems we’re obsessed with measurements. measuring success, measuring progress. everything is a measurement. after generations have been taught to think outside the box, we have a new generation crawling back inside the box, crying for rules and structure.
the problem is that the loneliness epidemic is very real for all of us, it’s just that it’s solely presented as an issue of guys unable to get laid. capitalism has fully hollowed out entire communities and alienated us from one another to the point of isolation
