Collect constraints you enjoy. Unusual constraints make things more fun. You can always change them later. This is your style, after all. It’s not a life commitment, it’s just the way you do things. For now.
Having a style collapses hundreds of future decisions into one, and gives you focus.
People who like rocks see cool rocks everywhere.
People who like birds see interesting birds everywhere. The tree on your yard could be an exceptional specimen. The world around you could be amazing and magical, but you aren't enough of a nerd to see it.
Work on becoming more attuned to all your senses such that you can notice minute differences between things. Study all the little differences between similar things, and why you like one better than the other. The world wants you numb. Being a student of nuance is an act of rebellion.
