what would it look like to accept that life is not supposed to be easy? What if you embraced periods of contraction and expansion with equal fervor?

Across the human experience, we find ourselves expanding. Regardless of the quality of our perception, we have periods of increased internal awareness. Similarly, we find ourselves contracting. We have periods where our perception dampens, dulls, and folds into itself.

My friendships were slowly turning into transactional instances of scheduling morning coffees, similar to the corporate world. It feels like I’m not growing alongside them as a person, and every time we catch up, I’m supposed to bring something new to the table
