I’m starting to wonder if the process isthe art. What do you mean by that? Maybe the photographing, the writing—maybe the tangible forms of the work are only the receipts of something much more important. What do you mean by that? I’m not exactly sure yet. But I’m paying close attention.

The point of personal knowledge management isn’t capturing and managing information; it’s living better by thinking better. Notes are a medium for thinking, not its replacement. (Another way to put it: the person with the most notes doesn’t “win” at the end.)

It’s headspace.
And we should protect our headspace at all costs.
I’ve always had this sense that if you build a container for something, you will make things to fill it. What I frequently do is try to figure out different containers. A website is a container.
