It's actually more like a particular way of relating to the system that creates, basically, as I understand it, part of the way that the self-world model gets constructed in early childhood Is through many iterative loops the child kind of like reaching into the buzzing, blooming confusion of their interior and like trying to speak it in words and having the mother receive It and offer it back in a more integrated way. And then through that process, the self kind of slowly coheres. But if that didn't happen so well, you actually just need to run a lot of reps of speaking the best truth, best clarified truth you have of your interior experience. And then having that reflected back such that it can like more deeply integrate. So there's a kind of mirroring and reflecting that happens that creates coherence in the self structure.
